The position is organized under the community planning unit within the municipal executive office but works with the entire group's operations. The community planning unit plays a central role in the municipality's growth and development. The unit is in an expansive phase and now needs to be expanded with additional employees. Currently, the unit consists of seven employees and a unit manager. The unit is responsible for physical planning, land and exploitation, strategic urban development projects, traffic planning, environmental and climate issues, as well as GIS and maps.

Job Responsibilities

As a local coordinator, you will lead the development work for effective local supply in the municipality. The goal is for the municipality's operations to have appropriate and cost-effective premises. You are responsible for implementing and developing the local supply process with associated routines and governing documents. You will lead and coordinate various collaboration groups with different stakeholders relevant to the assignment. The work as a local coordinator is varied and the role involves many contacts with the property department at Arboga municipal technology AB, representatives of the municipality's operations, and property owners.

As a local coordinator, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the development of the municipality's local supply plan with the associated local supply process. You will prepare and present decision-making materials for investments and rentals. You are the municipality's tenant for the facilities rented from the municipality's property company. You will participate in and lead project groups for feasibility studies in new and renovation projects. In addition to your main responsibility for local supply, the work may also involve various types of technical project and investigation assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in local supply or property planning with a technical, legal, or property economic focus. You have an academic education relevant to the assignment or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You enjoy working in an organization in constant development and want to actively drive our continuous improvement work. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships. You have good analytical, administrative, and communication skills, economic awareness, and are structured in your way of working. You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Conditions

Full-time, permanent. Start date according to agreement.
